Uncommon Records now has an official Flickr Page.  Check out our Photostream over there, we added a ton of flicks, some that have never been posted anywhere else.  We'll add more almost every month mostly of Uncommon Shows and some exclusive pics.  After Yule Prog this year we'll also be posting hundreds of flicks from that as well.

Yule Prog Update:

Vast Aire will be headlining "Yule Prog" on December 18th at Southpaw in Brooklyn.  Also on the bill that night are Despot, Homeboy Sandman, Super Chron Flight Brothers, Zesto, HiCoup, 11:00A.M. and W.A.S.T.E.L.A.N.D.S.

Also, don't forget about the first night of "Yule Prog" on December 17th at Public Assembly in Brooklyn.  That's the night of the first ever "Yule Prog Battle", entrants already include Crosby Cool, Chuck Brown, Chaz Kangaz, Rabbi D, Skarman and more!  That night you'll also see sets from Masai Bey and The Presence!

So make sure you get your ass to Yule Prog!!!!!!

For 11:00A.M. it's their debut on Uncommon Records, you've already heard them on "The New Art Underground" Uncommon Mix CD and you've heard Eleven on Arcsin's "Apache Cyborg Remix" from the "Scarlet Fever" single.  You can also check them out at "Yule Prog" this year as is mentioned below.  Be on the look out for A.M. Breakups' remix of "You Don't Know" on Karniege's soon to be released follow up single.

The Presence brings you a re-issue of their first ever released project from 2001, "Advanced Bloodbath".  It features re-mastered versions of the original tracks and a brand new cover for the digital release.  In addition to this it also contains "Weird Street '08", which is a totally revised version of "Weird Street to Cross" with the current line up.  It also has a previously unreleased track, "Your Welcome".

Yule Prog will be a two day event this year in December. 

On December 17th at Public Assembly in Brooklyn, the first ever Yule Prog Battle will take place.  There will also likely be some scheduled performances that first night.  The Battle will be INVITE ONLY, so if you want to be in it, send a link to your myspace page to info@uncommonmusic.net.  You could be the first ever Yule Prog Champion!

On December 18th at Southpaw in Brooklyn, will be the main performance portion of Yule Prog.  A full roster of artists will be announced very soon on this site.  The winner of the battle the previous night will also be asked to perform a set on the second night.

It also should be noted that 2008's Yule Prog is being put on as a collaboration of Uncommon Records and Backwoodz Studioz, so expect to see artists from both crews throughout Yule Prog weekend.
