Uncommon Records has put together a very special event for NYC this Monday at Public Assembly in BK, April 1st. It's called "NO FOOLS DAY" and features a great line up of artists. Headlining the night and completing his tour in New York will be Mega Ran, he'll be joined by billy woods (History Will Absolve Me), Cavalier (who is featured prominantly on Quelle Chris' brand new LP from Mello Music Group), Cult Favorite (For Mad Men Only & this great new video!), Uncommon Nasa (just dropped Frequent Flyers with Prince Po) and Pruven (Stamina of Thought). You can pre-order tickets right now at Public Assembly's website. You can also find out more about the event at it's Facebook Event Page (don't be shy spreading invites around the tri state btw).

We encourage everybody to check out the Dirty Waters blog. They've got lots of treasures from NYC Underground Hip-Hop radio. Original cassettes of full shows from Stretch & Bobbito are up there, The Halftime Show and many more.
Nasa is now in contact with the blog, which transfers original old tapes of underground hip-hop shows and is working with DJ Nes there. Tapes from Nasa's personal collection are now getting transferred. Already posted from Nasa are an episode of Stretch & Bob from 1996 featuring a Bush Babies interview and a Lord Finesse and Prince Po freestyle session from Hot 97 in the 90's. DW even uploads some of the original cassette images themselves as the digital artwork. Lots more is on the way as well as Nasa has tapes from the aforementioned Stretch & Bob, but also other shows like Hank Love & Half Pint, Awesome Two, Dirty Dozen, Underground Railroad, DJ Red Alert and much more.
Like we said, the blog is already full of treasures and has been at it since 2007. They add all kinds of stuff all the time that's worth checking out if you want to learn about the NYC Underground that Uncommon sprouted out of.
On May 11th we declared it officially W.A.S.T.E.L.A.N.D.S. Day by releasing a single from Taiyamo Denku and from the Short Fuze & Nasa project!
Taiyamo Denku's single is a follow up to his LP Articles of Mind. The single is for Mona Lisa which features Prince Po (of Organized Konfusion) and is produced by Panic of the Molemen. It has an exclusive remix by Agartha Audio and another track called Scared of Myself produced by A.M. Breakups.
Meanwhile, we're also dropping the first single from Short Fuze's solo LP Lobotomy Music which is entirely produced by Nasa.
