New Uncommon Nasa single w/ Prince Po, Produced by Willie Green + SXSW dates!

Uncommon Records proudly presents the first single from Uncommon Nasa's upcoming LP, Land of the Way It Is.  Frequent Flyers features the one and only Prince Po of Organized Konfusion and is produced by Willie Green!  There is also a remix by Nasa and the "Name Your Price" single features the instrumentals of both along with the accapella for your own remixing pleasure.  Frequent Flyers is also being released in advance of Nasa travelling out to SXSW to rock a schedule of 5 shows which can be found listed below.  If you're in Austin, make sure you make it out to at least one!

Uncommon Vs. SXSW Sampler (CD & Digital ONLY until March 19th)

Uncommon Records will be on the ground in Austin at SXSW giving away these DIY Uncommon Vs. SXSW Sampler CDs, but you can get a digital copy if you aren't going to be there as well!  Head over to our digital store and DL a copy, but do it fast, they are only going to be available for the week of SXSW (that's today through March 19th).  The CD version is limited to 220 copies with hand stamped covers, the whole thing is mixed by Elmattic of the Elmattic Podcast.  It features unreleased music from artists including Aeon Grey, Taiyamo Denku & Agartha Audio, Atari Blitzkrieg, Pruven, ADAM, Short Fuze & Nasa, DCK VNNGT and Acid Reign!

If you are going to be in Austin make sure you make it out to the two shows that ADAM will be performing at (this way you can get a CD copy as well).  ADAM will be rocking Thursday Night at Club Pachanga for the Prog Rap Attack (Hosted by Isolated Wax) and Saturday Afternoon at the Hater Graffiti Brunch at the Yellow Jacket Social Club.  Also on stage at these events will be Open Mike Eagle, Subtitle, Louis Logic, Awol One & Factor, Billy Woods, PremRock & Willie Green and many more.  See you there!

ADAM will perform twice at SXSW in 2012!

ADAM is set for two performances at SXSW this year!  The first will be at Isolated Wax' Prog Rap Attack which will be held at Club Pachanga on Thursday, March 15th.  He'll be sharing the stage with Subtitle, Open Mike Eagle, Louis Logic, Megabusive, Willie Green & PremRock, Marq Spekt, Billy Woods, Cult Favorite and many more!  It's sure to be one of the marquee events in Underground Hip-Hop at this years festival.  Then ADAM will be rocking The Hater Graffiti Brunch at the Yellow Jacket Social Club on Saturday, March 17th.  That show will feature live graffiti along with performances from ADAM, Awol One & Factor, Cadalack Ron and more.  Two incredible bills that will be the talk of SXSW in the weeks after.  If you are in Austin that week, make sure you post up at both venues. 

We will also be on the ground with the official Uncommon Vs. SXSW Sampler CD.  The CD is limited to 220 copies and will be handed out free at these performances exclusively.  You can also get the sampler online digitally for free, but it will only be available on the days of SXSW (March 13-18) at our online store.  The CD features unreleased upcoming music from the Uncommon roster and is mixed by Elmattic.  More details on that to come.
